omg! two posts in one day! exciting, i know…
i went to see ratatat with bonnie, lisa and caleb a couple weeks ago, and they know how to throw one hell of a dance party, complete with weird videos of birds cleaning themselves and everything. we danced so hard.
there was one problem with the show though, and that’s high school kids. i can remember being 16, and being so annoyed that all the good shows were 18+ or 21+, however, now that i’m almost 25, i see why they do it. high school kids are fucking annoying.
not all of them mind you, but the ones standing around us? stupid. watching these little people walking around wearing their fashion belts and their sunglasses inside, flashing bags of molly to their friends, taking sips from their older friends drinks and throwing made up gang signs around made me feel old. old and wise. wise enough to know that i wasn’t gonna want to be next to these young folk in another 15 minutes. so we danced our butts up to the balcony with the other big kids. so. fun.
